You may want to check the role at the gateway to make sure there's not an acl blocking it or test with a generic allowall acl just to see if it'll pass traffic. If the control plane tunnels are up, with port-based tunneling, all you care about is the port tunnel coming up, if that is enabled, traffic should flow. I'd recommend opening up a support case so they can do some deeper troubleshooting of your setup. I also tried to disconnect one path from remotesite to core to see if there is a problem with it but still not working - and as said - different device with the same setup works. I tried various vlans/roles but they dont seem to get a connection. but it does get an IP from the dhcp and it is shown in the dashboard. The device what is not working on the remote site is working when connected to a switch which is connected L2 to my Cores and they have a L2 connection to the controllers.Īnother device is NOT working on the remote site with the same vlan, same tunnel, same switch. To clarify - my setup uses OSPF routing as well. But with port-based I dont use 802.1x so there is nothing to care about, is it? Strangely I can get an IP and I see my wired laptop in the dashboard of the MC. But its not with another device nor with my windows laptop. What looks strange to me is that there is no TX. Other devices in that vlan are pingable when connected to WiFi (same role).Īnd I changed the controller IP to the primary/backup but it didnt change anything unfortunately. Clients get the right IP and everything, but they cant get anywhere nor can I ping them. Yes I figured that but I am using "port-based". When I use same vlan, same role with Wifi I can ping everything - well whatever my firewall allows in said vlan. It looks like RX packets are coming to the controller but TX is 0. DHCP server and gateway is the same but I cannot ping it. Vlan is on the switch (no uplink, no IP) and controller and I get a DHCP address from my network. 2 MDs clustered, the tunneled-node server IP is the VRRP of the mgmt IP. I am trying to get a tunneled-node per port working and it is not looking too bad actually but something is missing. You'll need to point the switch to a physical IP of the gateway or cluster, virtual IPs are not supported as a gateway IP for user-based tunneling.
